Maua Methodist hospital has an established Quality Improvement Department which ensures that quality of care and services is improved continuously in line with international and Kenya Ministry of Health standards. Quality Improvement Department ensures that the Hospital management’s commitment to quality services is consistent and communicated to all level s of hospital staff.
The department oversees the development, reviews, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures in all clinical areas. Regularly updates are done to clinical and general staff on total quality management to ensure evidence-based practices in service delivery.
We value and uphold the patient - partnership method of health service delivery to ensure patient-centered care and this is ensured through patients and community feedback surveys carried out every quarter. Quality improvement department works in collaboration with other departments to ensure coordinated delivery of high quality services to our patients and clients.
As a motivation the department carries out units assessment twice per year, the winning units are awarded with certificates and a small token in appreciation. Provision of high quality health services is our culture!
